Christmas is the season for holiday parties and gift exchanges for friends, family and co-workers.
Have an assigned "pot luck" and ask each guest to bring one dish from the dinner menu. You can also use a single food theme such as soup, chili, spaghetti, pizza, the list being endless. Watch the fun as everyone puts on their Chef hat and churn out some awesome food to make the celebration finger-licking good.
Send snowman cards invitation cards to everyone. Build up a snowman waiting at your doorstep to welcome your guests. You can make artificial snowflakes to decorate your house. Prepare snowman cakes for everyone and engage everyone in decorating it with adornments they love. Indulge in a celebration that will be both fun and "sweet".
The Word Game
Your guests think they have a gift of the gab? Well, why not challenge them with a simple word game? Puzzle up letters, make teams and find out all the possible words from one big word or from a series of jumbled letters. Let’s see which team knows more about Christmas.
Fill the Christmas Stockings
Hanging stocking and waiting for Santa Claus to put in a gift is cliched. Why not add some fun to it? Make teams, each having to fill their stockings with candies in limited time. Keep the candies at a distance and see the teams running and scrambling to have the more candies to their team.
Set up the home like a carnival. Adorn the entire party zone with some lighting. Set up tables with craft items for kids so that they can come up with interesting items like Rudolph nose for everyone, sprigs of holly, stars and bells. Make stuff that everyone can wear and participate in the carnival.
